The school enjoyed a very productive year on the football fields. In the autumn the under 11 footballers performed very well but did not progress from the group stages. This must not hide the fact that this group of players showed immense skill and determination during the campaign.

After Christmas the under 10 and senior squads began preparing. Both would go on to reach their respective finals. The senior boys played some great football in reaching the final only to be pipped by an extremely syrong Clane side.

Mr. Murphy's under-10 team were to have more success on the big day. In Rathcoffey G.A.A. they faced an excellent Celbridge team. Following an intense battle, Maynooth prevailed, sparking great celebrations. Well done!

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the teams this year, from Dominic who looks after the gear for us, to Maynooth G.A.A. who provide excellent and support. Finally a word to the parents who consistently support the team both vocally and in terms of lifts to matches. We are undoubtedly the best supported team in the county! Looking forward to more of the same next year!
