On Thursday 2nd April 09, five boys from sixth class accompanied by Mr. Davis, competed in the Kildare Primary Schools Cross-Country running competition in Celbridge G.A.A. The boys put in a fine performance, finishing very high in the team event.

Competition was very strong in the large school section, with almost 60 athletes competing. Sean Flanagan put in a supreme performance to finish in first place and become Kildare Primary Schools Cross Country Champion. Congratulations Sean!

Overall, it was a terrific display from everyone in the beautiful sunshine. Many thanks to Conor Dunne, Sean Flanagan, Louis Hartnett, Jack Kerrison and Ross O’Connor for all their effort. Thanks also to Mrs. Flanagan who kindly transported the boys to and from the event.
