It was a great honour for Maynooth to contest Division One Hurling Final U-11 recently. The game was played in Clane – with a huge turn out of teachers, and parents and pupils to support us. Lady Luck frowned on Maynooth in the first half. Naas had a six goal lead at half-time. Maynooth totally dominated the second half. Alas it was not to be but there are certainly encouraging signs for the future of hurling in the school.
