We are reading ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar. Holes is about a boy called Stanley Yelnats who always has bad luck. He was sent to court for stealing a pair of runners which belonged to Clyde Livingston a famous baseball player. He had a choice to go to jail or Camp Green Lake. He decided to go to Camp Green Lake.

At Camp Green Lake he had to dig a five foot deep by five foot wide hole and if he finds something of interest he would get the rest of the day off. He made new friends called Magnet, X-Ray, Squid, Armpit, Zigzag and Zero. Stanley’s nick name was Caveman. I like this book because there are a lot of twists in it!
