Maths Week began on the 13th of October. Our class took part in many maths activities. We took part in a maths trail, in which we completed sums on our sheet and each number signified a letter, the team that discovered the key word first were the winners. Jakub Kaliski and Sean Costelloe worked together and won the challenge.

In class, we learned all about long division and used whiteboards to practise the long division method. As a result of lots of practise, I’ve conquered long division! Our class also signed up for Mangahigh. Mangahigh is a computer game that allows our teacher to set challenges for us. We completed challenges both in school and at home. Our aim was to get a bronze medal, some of us even achieved gold medals!

It was a great week and our class had great fun.
