We did a historical tour of Maynooth. We spotted an 'i' missing in the word 'parishioners'. We looked at The Band Hall which was the old Boys' School at one time.

We found out that Pound Lane was for impounded animals! The Fitzgeralds had monkeys on their crest because a monkey saved a baby in a fire!

In the square, we saw 'The Axis' sculpture and we looked at the well in the keep in Maynooth Castle.
