Walk in My Shoes

We participated in the Walk in My Shoes campaign, a Mental Health Awareness campaign, held on the 9th of May. Both the boys and the teachers wore odd shoes to school to create awareness. The boys were encouraged to support each other through discussion and to compile a list of slogans they could use to promote positive mental health amongst their peers. We coloured shoes displaying the slogans to help stamp out the stigma. We walked united together through Maynooth Mainstreet and on to Carton Avenue, to highlight mental health issues and to show support those suffering.

Exercise is a great way to clear your mind, step by step. Well done boys for getting involved!
