We read about Tom Crean’s explorations in the novel written by Michael Smyth. A truly exciting read! We studied the Antarctic as the habitat of the penguins. We watched ‘The March of the Penguins’ and created our own colony of penguins. We drew each penguin and glued them onto a background of icebergs.

The COOLEST thing we have learnt about yet was definitely the Antarctic!
