On Thursday the 25th of October boys in Miss McMahon’s 2nd class were invited to the local library to meet an illustrator called David Butler. It was a very interesting visit. David told us lots about illustrating for books and cartoons. We learned that it is very important to edit your drawings and try out lots of different ideas.

David even showed us how to draw Homer Simpson. It was great fun. Have a look at our photos and drawing!
