Today we worked as scientists to see how much water different objects to hold. We used a sock, sponge, nappy, paper towel and towel. We felt how they felt when dry and then checked how much water they would hold when wet.

We thought the nappy and the sponge were the best at holding in water. The sock wasn’t very good at holding in water at all!
