We got to build a boat and sail the high seas to meet the King of the Sea (with a little help from Mr. Davis!). He taught us the song “The Yellow Submarine” and we all had different jobs to do on the ship – mopping the deck, caring for sick sailors, looking for sharks and cooking the food to name but a few! Conor Doyle was the ship’s Captain and Lucas was the First Mate. We had to design a floating device to feed the sea gulls and fish in the sea.

The King of the Sea was so sad because the sea was so dirty and we helped him clean and sort the rubbish in the sea. Luckily we all came back safe to our class, nobody fell overboard and nobody had to walk the plank!!!! Thank you King of the Sea for coming to our class!
