January 23rd was the start of the Chinese New Year. 2012 is the year of the dragon, we made a class dragon, you can see it below. We learned a lot of things about China, we saw a picture of the Great Wall of China – it’s so big you can see it from space!

We made our own Great Wall of Ms. McNickle’s class and you can see that below – we stretched out our arms as wide as we could to make our wall as long as possible! Ms McNickle brought in some chopsticks and we had lots of fun trying to use them to pick up pieces of lego!!
