On Thursday 11th of March, Mr Fenton, Mr Mc Geady, Mr Creevey and Miss Mc Laughlin’s 5th & 6th classes went to North Kildare Rugby Club for a rugby blitz. It was a blitz for the boys and girl schools in the local area. We were there for the whole day. We had to bring sports gear and extra lunch. There were lots of teams competing in the blitz.

We all had different colour bibs and jerseys for each team. The boys started on the grass and the girls started on the Astroturf. When we all played two matches we had a break and finished our lunch. If you were playing on the grass you were now playing on the Astroturf. We played more matches and then it was over. We got photographs taken of all the boys and girls.

We went back to school on the bus and after the three o clock bell we went home. We were all quite tired afterwards but we all had a great day!
