This year we had a lot of fun in school for Halloween. We made lots of things including ghosts, bats and snakes. We learned many facts about spiders and bats and we even made Spider Cakes (check out our recipe).

We played traditional Halloween Games - Oh they were so much fun. We could not stop laughing with everyone trying to bite the apples and getting all wet.

Our reading and writing has improved so much that we became authors of our very own Halloween Potion Books. On each page of the book we added new ingredients to our potions - eye balls, snakes, bat legs, slugs and snails etc. At the end we had a full book which made up some very magical potions. We also added in a poem by a very famous writer William Shakespeare.

One day Miss Flynn came in and her senior infant boys had disappeared and there were other creatures in her classroom instead - can you guess who they were?
