We learnt about Autumn. Our teacher took us on a nature walk to Maynooth College.

We saw lots of different kinds of trees, Horse chestnut, sycamore and oak. They had lots of different colour leaves; red orange, green and purple.

My favourite was the horse chestnut leaf. It is shaped like a hand but has 7 fingers. The horse chestnut tree gives us conkers. Our teacher let us find lots of conkers to bring home. Here is a picture of a boy in my class collecting conkers.
