I made my First Confession on Wednesday 27th February 2008. I arrived early to run over my words. Most of my family came but one of my brothers had to stay behind because he was too small.

Before the ceremony started I didn't know what to expect and I had butterflies in my tummy but once it started I was alright. The choir sang the first hymn magnificently. Then we had the procession. Stephen, Dillan, Luke and Eoin all brought up gifts. After that we had the drama of 'The Lost Sheep'. The actors did brilliantly. Then we had the readers. I was one of them. When it was my go I stumbled over the words a little but I was okay.

Then we had the individual confession. My mum took me up. I said three sins. Fr. Liam was very nice to me. After it Fr. Liam said a few prayers. Then both second classes went up to sing. When I went back to my seat my mum said I was very good.
