Our class loves science. We are always doing fun experiments in the classroom. One day Miss Henderson gave us buckets of water and plastic syringes and we got to experiment with pushing and pulling the water through them. We also got bicycle pumps and balloons and had great fun with those too!!!

We went on a materials hunt – every group had to find objects made from wood, glass, plastic, metal and paper.

We planted cress seeds in February- but we didn't plant them in soil. We planted them in paper, cotton wool, fabric, clay and tissue. We were all surprised to see that the seeds grew! We are going to plant sunflowers very soon!!!!

We went on a springtime walk to Maynooth College. We found daffodils and buds on the trees. We all picked a daffodil to bring home to our mammy's!
